OutSmart Extends Operations Contract with Gemini Wind Park After Years of Successful Collaboration

Since Gemini’s start of commercial operations in 2017, OutSmart has provided integrated operations management, 24/7 monitoring, and performance optimization services from its Operations Control Center (OCC) in Emden, Germany. Over the past years, this collaboration played a significant part in Gemini’s consistently high availability and contribution to the Dutch renewable energy transition.

Located 85 kilometers off the coast of Groningen, the Gemini Windpark has a total capacity of 600 MW, generating enough clean electricity to power approximately 800,000 Dutch households annually. Under the renewed agreement, OutSmart will continue to deliver comprehensive 24/7 services, including marine coordination, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance in the years ahead.
